About This Course
Welcome to the Navigating FASD, Empowering Foster Care Providers course! As a caregiver, this course will give you a better understanding of fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD), how they impact individuals, ways to support a child with FASD, and helpful resources.
Throughout the course, you will:
- Define fundamental characteristics of FASD and impact on the brain
- Discuss strategies to support children with FASD
- Identify FASD-informed support resources

To prevent prenatal alcohol exposure and to support all impacted by fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD) throughout Minnesota and beyond.
Vision
A world in which alcohol is not consumed during pregnancy and people living with FASD are identified, supported and valued.
