About this Session
Sexuality is a natural and healthy part of being human, but many caregivers never receive guidance on how to approach these conversations. What many people think of as “the talk” is actually a series of ongoing conversations that happen throughout childhood and adolescence.
We’ll explore typical sexual development from birth through age 18, discuss behaviors that may be considered developmentally atypical, and learn when additional support may be needed. Participants will also gain practical strategies for starting age-appropriate conversations and responding to common questions and situations with confidence.
The goal is to help caregivers feel prepared and empowered to have meaningful conversations that promote healthy development, safety, and positive relationships.
